It's Official! Birch Babe Is Airing on Dragons’ Den 🐉

We can’t believe we’re writing this but… Birch Babe is officially airing on Dragons’ Den!!! 🐉

Earlier this spring, our 100% women- and family-owned Canadian skincare brand, Birch Babe, was invited to face the Dragons on CBC’s Dragons’ Den.

Fun fact: this was actually our second year auditioning, so being welcomed back felt super surreal. Looking back, we’re honestly glad we didn’t make it on the show in 2024 because by 2025, so much had happened and we had grown so much as a company that we felt we felt more confident, prepared, and ready to face the Dragons and take on whatever came our way.

2025 also marks the 20th anniversary season of Dragons’ Den, making it even more special. It’s not only a major milestone, but also the longest-running Canadian reality TV show (cool eh?!). This season even includes celebrity guest Dragon Drew Scott from Property Brothers across multiple episodes… but you’ll have to watch to see if Drew makes an appearance on ours 😉.

We’ll be completely honest: stepping into the Den was absolutely terrifying and equally meaningful (there may have been tears… and a lil dancing). We genuinely did not know what would happen. All we knew was that we’d show up as ourselves and give it everything we had.

Then came the waiting…

What many people don’t realize is that not every Dragons’ Den pitch makes it to broadcast. Some are featured online only (which is still incredible), while others don’t air at all. So when we found out last week that our episode would officially be airing on January 15th, 2026, we were beyond honoured (and still a little in shock).

Since filming, so much has happened...

Birch Babe has grown by over 150%, we’ve launched exciting collaborations, introduced long-awaited new products (hello, 100% Mineral Sunscreen in SPF 40👋), and most importantly, grown alongside an incredibly supportive community across Canada and beyond....Ehhemm...that's you!

Every order, message, review, and recommendation has played a part in getting us here and we truly wouldn’t be here without you.
