We’re not your average skincare company. Birch Babe started after our founder (and mom!), Debbie, solo-hiked from the southern tip of Patagonia to the northern tip of Chile. When she returned home, she knew she wanted to do something different—so she quit her job, moved to the cottage, and earned two diplomas in organic skincare formulation.

Three years later, my sister Lindsay and I joined in, and together alongside our mom grew Birch Babe from being in 30 stores to over 300 across North America (organically—pun intended).

We wanted better skincare and so our mission was to create high-quality skincare for the low-maintenance babe (and baby). The kind that only uses the best ingredients, is safe for every skin type, actually effective and stays reasonably priced (under $60!)—because taking care of yourself shouldn’t cost a fortune.
